We're keepin' it classy! This class will introduce students to the process and techniques behind basic small mammal taxidermy. A skinning demonstration will be done and tanned skins will be provided. Tanned skins allow for more dynamic poses as the hide remains more flexible and workable. Basic armatures will be used and students will learn how to carve head forms and bodies. We will discuss how to properly mold items for taxidermy use at home. Students are encouraged to bring in any props they may want to dress the animal up in.  Bases and some props will be provided, but PLEASE bring your imagination! All specimens, materials, and tools for the class will be provided. Each student will leave with their own finished mount.

Due to limited space, everyone who attends the class must have a ticket. Please note there are only 4 spots for this class. Tickets are non-refundable.
