About the Artist
Grounded in punk ethos, the universe of Patrick Scully’s FUKD WORLD creates comedic, poignant and occasionally ironic commentary that reflects on all facets of contemporary life…including political, cultural and societal issues.
Patrick’s mixed media art takes many forms, from graffiti to tattoos. He also creates sculptures and murals made with salvaged materials and waste, including single-use plastics, cardboard and found objects. The rawness of his expressions challenges the art world status quo and reimagines forms and function. His art invites the viewer to step into a world where they are forced to face the chaotic and comedic truths of our shared experiences.
Patrick’s storytelling is authentic and imaginative, told through a variety of character’s perspectives, though “A Whole Lot of Bad Ideas Still Left” focuses primarily on the adventures of everyone’s favorite protagonist of the FUKD WORLD, Mangey Mousegoat. From the U.S. to the U.K and beyond, Mangey has become an underground symbol of mischief, resistance and hope.
