Owl Pellet Dissection Class Ticket

In this one hour long workshop, each student will get an owl pellet to dissect. What will you find...? Vole, mouse, or shrew? Pick out the bones and skulls and find out! Students will use identification carts to guide their findings. After picking all of the bones out of the pellet, we will attempt to build some skeletons with the found bones and skulls. Everything you find in the pellet can be taken home with you! This class is suitable for students ages 8 and up.
