1 Ticket: Mole Taxidermy Class: January 31

TICKETS GO ON SALE MONDAY, DECEMBER 15 AT 8AM

Katie of Afterlife Anatomy returns on Saturday, January 31 for a mole taxidermy class from 12-6PM. 

This class will introduce students to the process and techniques behind basic small mammal taxidermy. Students will learn how to skin, prep, preserve, mount, and position the animal. Basic armatures will be used and students will learn how to carve head forms. We will discuss how to properly mold items for taxidermy use at home. Students are encouraged to bring in any clothes/props they may want to dress the animal up in.  All specimens, materials, and tools for the class will be provided. Each student will leave with his or her own finished mount.   

Registration is open to individuals 18+ only. 
The class will take place on Friday, January 31 from 12-6PM. In the event of inclement weather, the snow date will be Sunday, February 1 from 12-6PM.

Seating is extremely limited. Unfortunately, due to limited space, we cannot accommodate spectators at the event. Everyone in the space must have a purchased a ticket.  Please note that workshop ticket sales are non-refundable.
